'Domino.Do more' approach underpins three decades of success

As Domino, global leader in product identification and traceability solutions, unveils the most comprehensive reworking of its product range in over a decade, the company has also announced an initiative that both recognises the contribution of its global workforce over the past three decades and sets out its commitment to growing further by delivering the very best solutions to customers the world over.

With the most comprehensive range of coding and marking technologies spanning ink jet (continuous, binary, thermal, valve jet and drop on demand), laser, thermal transfer overprint and print & apply and a customer base that includes SME’s to household names across all major industrial sectors, Domino’s business is one that demands an exceptional level of skill and market knowledge.

“Domino has an unbroken record of year-on-year growth over three decades and is the owner of the world’s best-selling brand of continuous ink jet printers, the A-Series, so we do have an enviable reputation to maintain,” says Domino managing director Garry Havens.

In contrast to much of the market, Domino has continued to increase its investment in research and development through recent challenging economic times. This strategy is clearly paying dividends: past months have seen a new benchmark set in digital label production with the launch of the Domino N600, while the unique i-Tech intelligent Technology concept – debuting in Domino’s new primary coding range - is set to redefine the role of coding in industrial production.

“Our customers are under pressure to be more efficient and at the same time to carve out competitive advantage and they depend on us to help them succeed in that aim,” continues Havens. “There’s no question that we can demonstrate leadership right across our product range but that’s just one aspect of the package. What sets Domino apart is our amazing people, matching excellence in product design and manufacture with skill and resourcefulness in installing and supporting products in the field.

“The ‘Domino.Do more’ initiative serves to underline that outstanding Domino products will be installed and supported by outstanding Domino people, resulting in total solutions that are the very best because they are more innovative at the customer interface.
