Data Matrix Coding

Data Matrix coding is widely used for small parts marking as the 2D Code can encode a large amount of data in a small area. Both Domino ink jet and laser technologies print Data Matrix codes.

Data Matrix codes offer high integrity data storage including data redundancy. This means that codes can be read even after sustaining some damage.

Domino solutions provide the flexibility of batch based or individual item coding for serialised product tracking, product traceability, track and trace or anti-counterfeit applications.

Serialised product tracking is a method of complying with the E-Pedigree requirements now coming into force in a number of markets.
