Domino has pioneered the use of sealed CO2 lasers and today is one of the largest international producers of this technology. Through research and product innovation Domino has created laser-coding systems that continually set the industry standard. Marking is achieved by using a laser to etch or vaporise the surface layer of the material leaving an indelible permanent mark. Domino has developed Scribing and Dot Matrix laser technologies that can print text, graphics and variable data onto a variety of substrates including plastic, glass, paper and cartons. As there are no inks or fluids used, laser printing is very cost-efficient and environmentally friendly. Scribing LaserHow It Works
Domino's scribing lasers, such as the S-Series plus and DSL plus, use a continuous laser beam guided by mirrors that are controlled by galvanometer assemblies. The galvanometer technology enables coding and marking onto moving or static products at high speeds. Key Benefits
Dot MatrixHow It Works
Domino's dot matrix laser printer uses a proprietary seven laser-tube technology. RF energy is used to stimulate the lasers inside the print head of the DDC3. This in turn fires the lasers to produce a vertical column of seven separate dots that converge onto the product. The system relies on the movement of the product to build these lines into dot matrix characters. Key Benefits
