 About the role

Joining the UK sales and service channel as the field-based Area Sales Manager you will develop opportunities to sell the Domino range of solutions to customers and prospects within a defined geographic area, in this case Scotland.  With the associated revenue and growth targets you own the discovery and leveraging of market opportunities within specific industry sectors, such as food, beverage, fast-moving consumer goods, manufacturing, and packaging as well as industrial sectors, growing our market share of our printing, labelling and software range.

In this role you’ll frequently collaborate with our Sales Coordinators, Service and Project Engineering team. You can expect to:

  • Generate leads in new market as well as cross-selling our entire technology and solution range to our customers and new accounts.
  • Develop and deliver “Configure Price Quote” packages for ease and commonality of specification, price point and brand quality.
  • Liaise with the UK Marketing team & Head of Sales to co-ordinate regionally focused campaigns.
  • Provide regular forecasting reporting and activity updates through the Salesforce CRM System.

With support you will be become a recognised coding and marking specialist demonstrating service excellence to inspire confidence and maximise future business success.  This role provides an excellent platform for career progression within other commercial areas of Domino.

About you

With a background in business, technology or engineering, suitable candidates will be experienced in technical capital sales solutions within a similar industry with a successful career in sales. Autonomous in your approach you’ll enjoy the planning, targeting and achievement of quantifiable results, delivered through effective relationship building, data management (CRM systems) and application of different sales techniques and financial models. As someone who is solutions driven, you’ll be passionate about providing customers with excellent service as well as exceeding challenging - but rewarding - sales targets.  This role would suit an analytical individual who can grow value in developing a library of reports and headline dashboard to demonstrate progress and success within Salesforce CRM system. This role requires the ability to be flexible with travel as well as a full driving licence.
