About the role

This is an excellent opportunity to work as an HRIS technical expert to support a global HR team delivering our key strategic objective of making Domino Printing a great place to work. 

Domino Printing uses Sage People as its HR system to manage the full employee lifecycle for over 3000 members of staff worldwide, across over a dozen countries.  You will be the in-house Sage People expert working closely with HR teams and senior leaders to maintain, update and improve the system, to ensure it enables business goals and outcomes, and support users on a day-to-day basis to answer queries and resolve issues.

This is a role with a varied and rewarding range of responsibilities, combining technical expert, business analyst, and customer service. You will need to collaborate closely with HR colleagues to understand all HR-related business processes and translate them into system requirements, as well as constantly and pro-actively look to enhance the employee and manager experience of using Sage People. 

You will have the hands-on skills to lead & assist in system improvements and configuration across all areas including recruitment, onboarding, absence, performance management, employee surveys, reporting, payroll, reward and recognition, and internal communications. You will spot opportunities to simplify business practices, empower HR administrators to work in a more streamlined and efficient manner, and introduce new functionality to equip managers with the tools and data they need to deliver their people objectives.

You will also build your knowledge of both Sage People and the Salesforce platform, and monitor industry developments, to ensure that Domino is up-to-date with best practice and latest technology, and able to exploit new and improved functionality in a timely manner.

Key responsibilities

•    Work with the Global HR Team ensuring the HRIS meets their needs for managing the entire employee lifecycle
•    Continuously develop and upgrade the system based on a sound understanding of the requirements of HR and the wider business
•    Support the HR team with training and development of best practice, and create user guides for managers and employees  
•    Generate actionable reports to help colleagues and senior managers make informed decisions and develop strategy
•    Maintain a system inbox and respond to all employee queries in a timely and friendly way; diagnose and resolve issues and escalate where necessary to the system provider
•    Work with the project manager to plan and roll out new releases, and with the HR managers to create accompanying comms and training where necessary

Skills and experience
•    Managing and Configuring HR systems. Ideally you will have specific experience of Sage People, but this is not essential.
•    Manage multiple projects concurrently.
•    Confident learning new software and configuring and testing changes to deliver business improvements. 
•    Build effective working relationships with a wide range of colleagues all around the world across every level of seniority. 
•    Confident Excel user, especially around multiple data sources.
•    Knowledge of HR business processes and working practices would be beneficial. 
•    Work autonomously to manage and prioritise own deadlines.
