About the role
Our Product Compliance team ensures Domino is aware and compliant with all legal requirements that a product must comply with when it is manufactured and made available for market, meeting essential requirements and conformity assessments.
As the Product Compliance Specialist you’ll support in the develop of new fluids for our printing devices. This will involve reviewing regulatory requirements for end-user application and industrial application legislations for industrial application relevant to toy safety, IMDS, packing waste, medical devises, cable, wire and electronics. To do this you’ll be an expert on regulatory product requirements and be an active member of external committees, to enable you to prepare technical documentation and advice to the business. You’ll also work with our customers, reviewing information and statements required by customers, keeping up to date to changing requirements for existing products. Your colleagues will expect you to look ahead for potential noncompliance issues arising, highlighting changes and making recommendations, ensuring the business is aware of industrial application legislation relevant to them.
As the point of contact for product specific regulations, the Product Compliance Specialist will participate in development projects, support sales channels and provide training on regulatory topics. In this role you’ll also provide supervision of our degree apprentices and trainees.
This is a great opportunity for a chemistry or biology graduate with an eye for detail and a desire to learn about ink regulations and legislation to join our award-winning company and play a part in shaping our ambitious future. Previous experience within a regulatory or compliance role is not required as you’ll received on the job training by our team of experts. Crucially, candidate will need excellent written and verbal English, confident and approachable in your manner. You’ll need to enjoy working in the detail, but you’ll also need the ability to see the bigger picture, using your curiosity to lead you to important questions and answers. You won’t be phased by technical documents and language and in time you’ll be confident to convert and communicate regulatory guidance into simple language for the business to consider and take action.
