This is a great opportunity for a chemistry graduate with an eye for detail and a desire to learn about ink regulations and legislation to join our award winning company and play a part in shaping our ambitious future.
As a Summer Placement student you’ll be joining our in-house Regulatory team, who ensure that all our inks and related products comply with relevant legislation and can be sold, worldwide, without any issues. Aside from your chemistry-based studies, you don’t need to have any experience in regulatory affairs as we will teach you everything you need to know.
You’ll get involved with a wide variety of tasks including:
- Supporting Product Compliance Specialists in Development Projects
- Producing Regulatory Statements for our wide range of fluids products
- Documenting all work to a professional standard
You’ll need to have A-levels (or equivalent) in Chemistry and Maths to a high standard and be currently studying for a Chemistry or Materials science (or similar) undergraduate degree. It would be an advantage to have experience in any of the following:
- Proficient in Microsoft Office
- Have an understanding of Safety Datasheets
- Work in an office environment or administration role
We’ll be looking for a good team worker and friendly self-starter, who is dedicated, has excellent attention to detail and tenacious with the ability to quickly learn new concepts and take ownership of tasks.
The placement can start any time after you have finished attending University for the summer and can last for as long as you are available before you return in September (holidays permitting).
