 One-Year Industrial Placement – Pricing Analyst

Here at Domino we’re building a global team of pricing experts to help the business achieve its ambitious growth targets. You’ll be part of a team delivering pricing excellence through our direct sales subsidiaries in the USA, Europe, Dubai, India and China as well as through our 130-strong indirect distributor network covering almost every country in the world.

Professional pricing as a distinct business function is a rapidly growing field both academically, in consulting and in industry. It’s our mission to ensure that we excel in this essential aspect of business.

As an industrial placement student in Group Pricing you will assist with analysis, reporting and measuring of KPIs.

You’ll have the opportunity to:

  • Learn how to turn big data from multiple sources into useful dynamic reporting and insights using the most advanced reporting and artificial intelligence tools available.
  • Challenge yourself in a culturally-diverse group which researches, develops, manufactures and trades worldwide.
  • Be involved in deal appraisal and pricing / sales programme development for multi-national companies.
  • Get first-hand experience of the challenges associated with competing in business globally
  • Travel to conferences and business meetings in the UK and Europe, honing your networking skills and get cutting-edge insights from business leaders.
  • Affect real change and see how well text-book business economics theories play out in the real world.

You’ll need to be currently studying for a Business, Finance, Mathematics (or similar) undergraduate degree.  

You should also have:

  • A decent head for numbers;
  • General understanding of business and economics principles;
  • Good MS Excel skills;
  • The ability to express yourself clearly and concisely;
  • A readiness to learn

We’ll be looking for a bright, focussed individual who has a natural aptitude for understanding data and for problem solving.

The placement can start anytime between July and September 2020 and will last for approximately 12 months.
