Position Summary: This position is responsible for preparing outgoing shipments. The duties include organizing inventory for easy retrieval as new orders come in, packaging orders for shipment, reviewing plant activities to meet the needs of our internal and external customers, ensuring that quality and service levels are met within required time frames.
Location: Gurnee (Fluids Plant)
Main Responsibilities/Essential Functions
- Palletize and shrink wrap product for shipping
- Maintain housekeeping and 5S standards for the shipping department
- Band and strap product to pallets for shipping to customers
- Process orders for shipping, providing accurate documentation in accordance with relevant legislation, company, customer and carrier requirements
- Support Fluids Plant ISO Accreditations (IE. ISO-9001 (Quality), ISO-14001 (Environmental), ISO-18001 Health and Safety)
- Build strong relationships with the materials, Warehouse and Production teams to ensure materials and products are available to meet shipping schedules
- Undertake all tasks as required in accordance with standard Domino working practices and quality procedures
- Off Load and receive Bulk Tank Loads (back up for Material Handler)
- Support CTPAT Certification program with drivers delivering incoming goods
- Perform Daily shut down tasks
- Perform required monthly general inspections, i.e., Fire extinguisher check, etc.

What You Need
Education & Experience
- High School diploma/GED or at least one year of relevant experience, preferred Hazardous Material experience in a Manufacturing Environment
- Knowledge in working with Hazardous Incoming Goods a plus
- Knowledge in JSA (Job Safety Analysis) a plus

Physical Demands
