Ax-Series - How to Shut Down Printer

Safety Note

CAUTION

Ink Sediment Hazard. Risk of Ink Degradation.

Do not disconnect the power supply if wake-up mode is enabled.

Wake-up mode keeps the ink agitated during long periods of idle
time. Wake-up mode will be disabled if power is disconnected from
the printer. See: How to Use Wake-up Mode.

Step 1

Shut Down Printer

Press and hold the Power Button.png

button for 2 seconds.

NOTE

The printer will now begin shutting down in the following sequence:

A progress bar will be displayed on the TouchScreen
The green indicator light on the button will begin flashing
The print head will run an auto-flush cycle to prevent ink from drying and blocking inside the ink jet nozzle and print head gutter
The printer will shut down.
