Advanced Services: The Business Case for Sustainable Productivity

Industry 4.0 and smart solutions play a critical role in achieving sustainable productivity. However, investing in new technology may seem risky without a return-on-investment guarantee – particularly at a time of supply chain volatility, global market instability, and rising costs.

Excellent Adhesion Without MEK: Low-Impact Printing on Challenging Substrates

MEK (methyl ethyl ketone) is a solvent used in traditional continuous inkjet inks. Its high evaporation rate means that MEK-based inks are very fast drying, however, they are also associated with increased volatile organic compound (VOC) emissions.

How you can Eliminate the ‘8 Deadly Sins of Lean’ with Industry 4.0

A lot has changed in the last 70 years in manufacturing - the basic tools we use on the assembly lines - the line itself, the skill of the manpower. However, manufacturers who wish to embrace basic Lean Manufacturing principles in the modern era now have a whole new class of tools to aid in the process thanks to Industry 4.0.

Upgrading ones infrastructure has become the elephant in the room that no one wants to let's address it here!

How to Factory Reset Your Router

Many factories are using personal networking equipment, from big box stores, as an "add on" to existing networks. This can expose your whole network to potential risk since you have equipment not optimized for industry and can be the "backdoor" for people to break in.

Why Leveraging Technology is more Powerful than Innovating

Connectivity is everywhere. It’s the thermostat in your home, it’s the payment terminals when you buy something at the store. Industry 4.0 in your production is no different -simply put, it’s the central control of data to drive optimal operational performance. But this doesn’t require a plethora of investment in new technology or software.
