Domino Automation - How to update Domino Automation Software

  • The IT department of Domino's clients
  • End users of Domino Automation software
  • End users of Domino Designer software

Description

This document aims to provide the recommended steps for performing a software update on the server or host where Domino Automation or Designer software is installed.

Step 1

Update Domino Designer & Automation 300 Software

⚠️ WARNING

 Before updating Domino Automation, make sure to backup the databases and the whole system.

 

  1. Extract "designer-300-xxxx.zip" into the C\temp directory



  2. Right-click and run as administrator on the setup file: Automation_setup_XXXX.exe



  3. The "Welcome" screen appears. Click "Next"



  4. Choose “Install” to update



    Wait for a few minutes during the software upgrade



    At the end of the update, the following page appears:



  5. Select "Finish" to close the setup. The update has been successfully completed.
