Traceability

Whether to track and reconcile materials, documents or products, or provide an anti-counterfeit or parallel trade measure for packaging, Domino has a range digital Printing Solutions and digital printed security features to support your requirements.

Print alpha-numeric numbering sequences using a wide range of industry standard barcodes and 2D codes, with the Domino K600i printer or the K630i digital press. A range of aqueous, solvent, UV-curable and specialist inks are available including monochrome, and UV-readable inks to meet your security printing, track and trace printing and anti-counterfeit printing requirements. The Domino Editor Starlight handles industry standard data file formats and a range of data management functions including cut-and-stack and modulus numbering with print confirm, reconciliation and vision system matching and verification capability. The Domino Editor RIP supports the pdf workflow format as well as an IPDS data stream for more demanding complex job requirements.

Foiling

Domino K600i digital cold foiling enables conventional metallic foils to be digitally applied through ink jet printing the foil adhesive, laminating with the metallic foil, UV-curing and then delaminating to leave the digital foil image. Foil images can include variable data alpha-numeric codes, barcodes, 2D codes, security marks and graphics.

It is an ideal security feature or anti-counterfeit measure, combining holographic foils with the added complexity of variable data printing. Requiring no plates or special tooling, digital foiling is also an efficient way for producing short run production with reduced lead times.
