Compensation: $15.00 - $20.00 (based on qualifications)

Position Summary
As a Digital Printing Demo Room Intern, you will support the daily operations and behind-the-scenes administrative tasks of the Digital Printing Demo Room. Working closely with the Demo Room Manager, you’ll gain hands-on experience in press maintenance and supervised operation, sample production, media trials and validation, and inventory management—including the organization of stock sample kits, warehouse supplies, and consumables. You’ll also expand your knowledge of the print industry through market research and Salesforce account organization. This internship offers exposure to multiple departments (such as training, helpdesk, and sales), providing a broad understanding of digital printing technologies, customer engagement strategies, and the operational flow of a technical sales environment—all while developing valuable organizational, communication, and time management skills.

Main Responsibilities/Essential Functions
  • Assist with setup and cleanup for customer demos, including coordinating lunches and preparing press-ready materials.
  • Participate in the operation and basic maintenance of digital presses under supervision.
  • Support sample production processes, including media trials and validation.
  • Assemble and ship stock sample kits used by the sales and marketing teams.
  • Receive, log, and organize incoming packages from the shipping dock into appropriate storage areas.
  • Maintain a clean, safe, and organized warehouse and demo room environment, supporting inventory control of consumables and materials.
  • Conduct market research and assist with compiling simple trend and opportunity reports.
  • Update and organize Salesforce accounts to ensure accurate and useful customer data.
  • Shadow other departments (e.g., training, helpdesk, and sales) to gain broader exposure to the business.

What You Need

Education & Experience
  • Pursuing an Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree, preferably in a related field such as Graphic Communications, Business, Marketing, Engineering, or Print Technology.

Skills & Knowledge
  • Adobe CC Suite is a plus
  • Motivated individual with strong communication and teamwork skills.
  • Detail-oriented and dependable, with the ability to follow instructions and meet deadlines.
  • Self-starter with the ability to work independently when needed.
  • Comfortable using Microsoft Office (Apple/Mac experience a plus).
  • Familiarity with Salesforce is a plus.
  • Strong problem-solving and organizational skills.
  • Willingness to learn and explore new technologies and tools within the print industry.
  • Safety-minded and able to contribute to a professional, respectful, and clean work environment.



Physical Demands
  • Medium work. Medium work involves exserting no more than 50 pounds of force at a time, with frequent exertion of objects weighing up to 25 pounds. Pushing, pulling, stooping, reaching, gross/fine manipulation, driving, kneeling, crawling, and climbing may be required. Physical demand requirements are more than those for Light Work.
