Legislation governing labeling and coding of syringes is an essential safeguard that protects the health of patients. But on the supplier side, there’s no denying that it can be something of a headache. How do you achieve high-quality cardboard and foil marking for all levels of syringe packaging, while keeping the production process efficient and cost-effective?

Here at, Domino, our engineers design our printers for maximum flexibility and reliable performance in as many industries and real-world factory conditions as possible – even when printing complex text, graphics or 2D Data Matrix codes on traditionally difficult-to-mark materials at high production speeds.

For case printing, our V-Series range of thermal transfer overprint (TTO) coders can print variable data, barcodes and images at an impressive 300dpi quality on flexible packaging films and labels for a wide range of applications - including for syringe packaging. Over the years, our engineers have made a number of innovations to enhance the capability of TTO technology to make it more affordable.

How fast can the Domino V-Series Range code?

As with any industrial printing machine or coder, there's more to life than speed because code quality is always the goal. That said, as you know, factory output directly affects your bottom line.

Three models are available to suit your specific coding needs including our V120, 230i and 320i trim levels to ensure that there's a TTO printer to fit your factory's output. Both the V120i and 230i can handle up to 750 mm per second while the V320i can handle up to 1400 mm per second.

We've helped reduce the total cost of ownership by engineering these printers for reduced downtime, reduced consumables use, operational simplicity and improved coding capability. These benefits, combined with versatility and simple installation, make our V-Series an excellent option for manufacturers and packaging machinery OEMs in multiple industries including medical supply.

By combining our world-class printing and labeling technologies, we can also offer a total product marking solution for all packaging levels – maximizing your uptime and making sure you comply with relevant legislation.
