About the role

As part of the Domino strategy to grow our Digital Printing business and bring DP technologies to our Coding & Marking customers, we are looking for a Product Support Specialist to join our Digital Printing Solutions team. This role will support the rollout of the latest generation of digital inkjet colour label printers. You will be working within a small team of Product Specialists, to carry out product support, validation and research and development, which are all essential to strengthen the experience our customers have with Domino. As part of this role some of your key tasks will be:
  • Collaborate with Domino product installation and support teams in Europe, USA and Asia, to ensure that their technical competency for newly released products is sufficient to allow them to successfully install and provide ongoing customer support and service.
  • Provide on-site support for new product customer Beta test sites to collect data on product performance and customer feedback.
  • Work with technical helpdesk support team to ensure timely resolution for customer technical issues.
  • Perform root cause analysis and fault finding at customer sites to prevent product reliability issues and minimise warranty failures.
  • Provide support to the technical team during the development, validation and introduction of new product enhancements.
About You

This is a great opportunity for someone who has experience working in a technical support role, dealing directly with customers.  You’ll be an excellent communicator, internally as well as with customers and be able to deal with and solve complex technical issues. Suitable candidates will be skilled in electrical and mechanical fault finding in time critical environments.

Previous experience within inkjet would be advantageous, however we’re happy to support you in growing your expertise within the field. The role would also suit someone with  experience in any of the following areas, however training can be provided;
  • Servicing high voltage electrical machinery
  • Web fed media transport systems,
  • PLC control software
  • Recirculating ink systems
This position provides the opportunity to undertake international travel around 2 weeks per month, candidates will need to be able to meet this business need.
