About the role
We’re recruiting a Facilities Officer to join our Bar Hill (Cambridgeshire) based Facilities team. In this role you can expect to:
- Oversee and implement a range of statutory inspections across the Bar Hill site to ensure our compliance with UK legislation.
- Be the first point of contact for all aspects of inspection compliance, responsible for providing excellent customer support from the facilities team’s help-desk.
- Manage contractors, preparing safety documentation (permits to work) and ensure that all contractors are compliant, safe and properly trained to work on site.
You will be working within a friendly, close-knit team working both on site and from home on occasions.
Salary - £25,000-£30,000
About you
We’re looking for candidates with administrative experience with previous exposure to inspection / audit programs. We can be a busy department and previous experience in a Help-desk environment or busy department would be beneficial, as well as experience dealing with external contractors coming on site and the associated Health & Safety.
As a team member you’ll play a coordinating role within the Facilities Team therefore your collaborative attitude and great communication skills will be very important. You’ll need to be well organised, thorough and inquisitive. We’re passionate about customer service and you’ll need to be too.
Aviation Security
Due to the nature of this role the successful candidate will required Aviation Security Clearance. Therefore Aviation Background checks as specified by the Civil Aviation Authority - including a DBS check and 5 years’ employment/educational references - will need to be completed via our HR department before the successful candidate can start the role.
