About the role
We have been growing our automation, connectivity and solutions capability in-house and through acquisition under the umbrella of what we call “Beyond Printer”, working closely with our customers to improve their efficiency and productivity with the latest technology solutions. This role within our Portfolio Product function provides a crucial interface between our Development Teams and Partners to deliver the ongoing roadmap of Products for “Beyond Printer” including Automated Code Inspection, Cloud Gateways, Customer Dashboards and HMI's.
- You will be responsible for ensuring new and existing 'beyond printer' products meet customer requirements by acting as the link between the product management and technical teams ensuring that customer requirements are clearly understood, using Agile tools and methodologies to test customer value and speed up time to market.
- You’ll become an expert in the industry, able to offer insights on technology related trends within our industry.
- In time you will deliver enablers that work across all printing technologies empowering and equipping our customers to work better, through eliminating manual tasks, potential for error, as well as enabling data driven decision making.
- Working with and as part of Software Sprint teams there will be a high degree of exposure across Domino, offering future scope and opportunities to develop into either a technical or commercial direction.
About you
This is a great opportunity for someone who is quite technically minded, with experience working as a Product Owner, or closely with Product Owners in a technical role. You’ll be familiar with operating within agile methodologies, capturing requirements and being part of a scrum. You’ll be an excellent communicator, able to discuss requirements with both commercial and technical subject matter experts.
The beyond printer products are a key part of Domino's future ambitions and growth strategy and we’re keen to hear from candidates who share our interest in technology and an understanding of how the IOT, AI, ML can be used to automate and improve processes. Candidates need to be able to undertake international travel 2 to 4 times per year as part of this role.
