About the role

As part of the image quality team, you will be assessing the breakup of droplets using imaging hardware. You will be working on supporting the development of waveforms for driving industrial inkjet printers. The data collected will need to be collated and presented to the team to determine the best outcome. This will work closely with hardware developers as well as the ink development team. In your role you will be generating print samples alongside capturing images of inkjet breakup to determine whether the quality metrics are being met. This data will allow the generation and release of new waveforms for different inks and hardware solutions.

Ideally you will have some software experience so that you can contribute to improving the automation of the waveform development process. This would include automating hardware, such as linear slides and cameras, as well as creating scripts to process data and generate reports.

The output of this work will enhance the image quality and reliability of Domino’s digital printing leading to an uplift in capability of the press.
