Quality Systems Technician

About the Role
As a key member of the Quality team, you will play an integral role in supporting and maintaining the Quality Management System (QMS), as well as assisting with the investigation and resolution of production-related issues. To develop a strong understanding of our operations, you will gain hands-on experience with our products and the testing procedures carried out in the QC laboratory. This exposure will enable you to contribute effectively to upholding high quality standards across the business.
Key Responsibilities
  • Support the coordination and ongoing management of the QMS, including participation in internal and external audits in line with the audit schedule.
  • Assist with investigations into internal and external quality issues, ensuring appropriate corrective and preventative actions are identified, implemented, and completed.
  • Provide administrative support for the QMS by working closely with Managers and Coordinators to update, control, and publish required documentation.
  • Manage the Quality team’s case queue on Salesforce, responding to cases where appropriate and escalating or assigning others to relevant team members.
  • Support the QC Laboratory during investigations and provide cover during periods of absence when required.

  • A genuine desire to achieve Six Sigma and Lead Auditor qualifications.
  • Familiarity with ISO 9001 Quality Management Standards and their application.
  • Competence in applying formal problem-solving techniques (e.g., Six Sigma DMAIC, 8D methodology).
  • A self-motivated and proactive approach to work.
