About the role
This is an excellent opportunity to join our European Finance team on a 12-month fixed-term contract. and play a key role in supporting our European subsidiaries. As the European Assistant Accountant, you will assist with essential finance activities including VAT submissions, statutory declarations, fixed asset management, and supplier payment runs. Working closely with Finance Managers and European Accountants, you’ll help ensure tasks are completed accurately and on time to meet reporting deadlines. Over the next year, you’ll also contribute to the exciting transition of our European businesses to Oracle Fusion, gaining valuable experience in system implementation and process improvement.

About you
You are highly organised, detail-oriented, and methodical, with strong analytical skills and the ability to work independently while managing your own workload. A team player with excellent written and verbal communication skills, you are committed to continuous improvement. You are proficient in MS Word and Excel, confident in handling and analysing large data sets, and have experience within a Finance team. Ideally, you are working towards an accountancy qualification, and knowledge of Oracle Fusion or similar systems is an advantage but not essential.
