Ax-Series - How to Increase the Product Detect Persistence

  • Set the Product detect persistence value as low as possible. If a high value is set, then the accuracy of Print delay setting will be affected.

  • If the print trigger signal is generated by an external machine, it is recommended to change the unit of measurement for the Product detect persistence value to time. The unit of measurement can be changed by a certified engineer with a USB key.

  • If the print trigger signal is generated by a product sensor detecting physical products, it is recommended to set the unit of measurement for the Product detect persistence value by distance.

How to Increase the Product Detect Persistence

Repeat spacing defines the distance between prints that are repeated. The setting can be saved globally for all labels, or locally with an individual label.

To increase repeat spacing if the label's local settings have been used:
  1. On the TouchScreen, select Home > Setup > Production line setup > Print trigger.

  2. Increase the Product detect persistence (mm) value.
