Printing on frozen food plastic tubs

Choosing the right ink is key when printing to plastic tubs

Coding plastic tubs after they've been filled require adhesive and durable inks. Formulated to meet the exacting demands of frozen food production, our inks have the resilience to match the product shelf life and to overcome any issues from condensation and storage. Our Ax-Series printers are equally resilient, withstanding the demands of high speed production in low temperatures with little or no maintenance and negligible downtime. In-built controls on solvent use and ink viscosity help reduce waste and contribute to a low cost of ownership, while the printers themselves are lightweight making them easy to move and adapt to changing production regimes. And their IP66 rating means they can be washed down in-situ, as part of the normal clean down procedures.
