Printing on meat and seafood cartons

Cardboard has long been the packaging of choice for fish fingers and other frozen-fish products

The porosity of cardboard means it's vital to print traceability codes in high resolution, to remove any risk of smudging. Domino can offer thermal Inkjet printers (TIJ), continuous inkjet (CIJ) printers and laser printers that can achieve the desired results. Our printers are easy to set up and use, giving manufacturers greater flexibility to switch between product and packs, and to accommodate any changes in production schedules.

The high IP66 rating of the Ax-Series means they can be washed down in situ, but their lightweight construction also means they are easy to relocate to different lines if needed. Our Gx-Series TIJs provide a coding solution that is flexible, easy to integrate into your production line and designed for high-resolution printing at fast line speeds. The modular setup of the Gx-Series can grow with your requirements: Up to four individually operating print heads are managed by one controller and can be configured to operate multiple production lines.

Our Automation and Integration Services help make the coding process safer and prevent errors from happening.

Domino Automation and Designer, our software tools for centralized label management and automated deployment, are designed to boost your production efficiency: streamline operations and minimize waste.

Using Domino Automation you can create messages centrally and automatically pass them down to all Domino printers on your production.

  • Design and manage labels at a single location: our intuitive label design system enables using a universal interface, keeping training needs at a minimum.
  • Easily manage users and their permissions: security features like Active Directory Integration enable using your existing IT network, and simplify user management.
  • Full audit trail for the management of production changes: version control provides the ability for approval and roll-back procedures.
