Printing on net and tag

The simple net presents fruit and vegetables in their near-natural state, leaving the tag to carry key product details

Why Choose Domino for Fruit and Vegetable Bag Labeling?

A simple plastic tag presents no problems for Domino. Our V-Series range of thermal transfer overprint (TTO) coders can print variable data, barcodes and images at 300dpi quality on flexible packaging films and labels for a wide range of applications. It's the perfect solution for adding source, best-before and traceability data to flow wrap packaging, giving consumers the reassurance that produce is being grown on well-managed farms.

Our Gx150i thermal inkjet and Ax350i continuous inkjet printers are ideal for adding codes to plastic, card and even metal. Using GMP-approved food-contact inks that present no risk of contaminating the exposed product, the code is easy to apply and quick-drying. It's also secure, so it won't smudge when consumers lift the product by the tag. Several lines of text can be printed simultaneously, making it easy to add details on crop variety, source and best-before dates, as well as barcodes and traceability codes.

The quality of our inks is carefully monitored and adjusted, so they are fully optimized for use, and solvent consumption is reduced. This means that our printers are both eco-friendly and economical. With no need for maintenance, they're always ready for action.
