About the role

High product and service reliability  is a principle which Domino brand is famous for. The only way to achieve this status is through highly committed, innovative, and forward-looking team of Quality Engineers.

Our market leading coding and marking products, assembled, and configured in our global hubs rely on high levels of value add from our global supply partners. 
You will be the lead engineer for several component technologies ranging from electronics to plastics, overseeing the quality readiness of new components and assemblies introduced though our NPI team, providing management reporting of overall maturity highlighting and managing any associated gaps or risks.
You will work closely with our manufacturing and manufacturing engineering teams to resolve issues that occur post launch and through the entire product life cycle by ensuring robust preventative actions are implemented at the supplier.  You will stand in for the Operations Quality manager when required and may be looking to progress into functional quality management and beyond in the future.

About you

To be successful in this role, you must be able to demonstrate very strong quality engineering competencies such as supplier development, planning and implementing preventive techniques in manufacturing (APQP & FMEA), excellent fault diagnostic skills – in DoE, route cause analysis, 8D, excellent data understanding and manipulation for reporting – SPC, Capability studies, Performance monitoring.
Ideally you will also be skilled in ERP system Oracle, IFS, SAP or similar, competent in design for manufacture – able to drive design decisions where manufacturability deliverables need to be repeatable.
We are looking for a collaborative team player with excellent communication skills, able to work in teams across organization, with many different types of people at varying levels of seniority. You must be extremely well organised and have attention to details. You need to demonstrate the effective analytical/critical thinking and problem solving and be able to work under pressure and still ensure that standards are met.
