About the role
We are recruiting for a hands-on data migration engineer to support our transformation programme, migrating operational data from Oracle E-Business Suite (EBS) to Oracle Fusion. 
This role is for a 12 months fixed-term contract (FTC) with a possible extension of up to 24 months.

This role is ideally suited to a candidate with a strong background in manufacturing and supply chain environments, comfortable working on ERP datasets using SQL & BI. Ideally with prior experience populating FBDI templates.  
Working directly with our ERP lead and reporting into the Group Data & Analytics Director, you will play a critical role in the extraction, analysis, cleansing and upload of data sets for our Fusion deployment.

What you will do
  • Extract and analyse key datasets and present in KPI format 
  • Work closely with SMEs and business managers across operations to understand existing EBS data and & data requirements in Fusion.  
  • Deliver hands-on data migration activities including extraction, cleansing, transformation (ETL), and FBDI upload. 
  • Perform data mapping, validation, and reconciliation between EBS & Fusion. 
  • Working with the relevant operations SMEs, own and manage the cleansing and enrichment of operational data (inventory, BOMs, routings, suppliers, etc). 
  • Own reporting on data & FBDI readiness to present to the programme team alongside the Liverpool ERP manager.  

About you
  • Hands-on experience in manufacturing ERP data migrations, ideally on Oracle platforms is essential.
  • Proficiency in working with SQL, Excel, and BI tools to analyse, transform, and validate data. 
  • Experience creating/uploading FBDI templates. 
  • Strong understanding of manufacturing and supply chain business processes and how they are represented in ERP systems. 
  • Track record of identifying and resolving data quality issues and collaborating with business users to correct legacy data. 
  • Strong documentation skills and attention to detail. 
  • Experience in Oracle Environments would be beneficial but not essential
