Job Title: Installation Planner
Compensation: $70,000 - $95,000 (based on qualifications)

Position Summary
The primary responsibility of the role is the planning, coordination, and tracking of all printer installation for Domino North America. All installations should be planned with a goal of driving efficient use of Domino resources while delivering customers a high level of customer service.

Main Responsibilities/Essential Functions
  • Plan and schedule installation work orders.
  • Engage with commercial team to understand any special installation requitements.
  • Review sales orders and site surveys to double check that common parts like encoders, stands, photo eye, or fluids are included.
  • Load new printer serial numbers into ServiceMax.
  • Activate new DCI devices.
  • Confirm all installation critical parts have shipped prior to the installation start.
  • Utilize installation planning templates for customer communication.
  • Log installation planning activities in ServiceMax so that status and needed actions are clearly defined.
  • Support installer to technician installation escalations as needed.
  • Confirm customer readiness for installations.
  • Quote installation service change orders for weekend or overtime installations.
  • Work with project managers on the coordination of all project managed installations.
  • Work with regional scheduling to balance regional service capacity and new installations.
  • Actively manage assigned installations to meet First Time Install Rate targets.
  • Log installation failure details on the level 1 tracking board.
  • Schedule return installations with the customers as required.
  • Coordinate escalated issue resolution with internal resources and customers.

Other Responsibilities
  • Provide SMAX application support to the Service team.
  • Support the data steward profile and activity as required.
  • Manage Relax printer returns reporting monthly on status.
  • Create ServiceMax cases for all Cross Border installation requests.
  • Track Cross Border installation requests logging days sold on tracker sheet.
  • Facilitate cross charging other channels for cross border installation supported by North American field resources.
  • Actively participate in Level 1 and team meetings.
  • Drive installer utilization working to reassign installation engineers when planned installations are cancelled or push out.

What You Need

Education & Experience
  • Associate degree in a technical capacity and at least 3 years of technical or planning experience OR at least 3 years of military technical training and 3 years of technical or planning experience
  • Experience working in or planning activities in a manufacturing facility is a plus

Skills & Knowledge
  • Excellent Communication Skills
  • Able to work with different levels of employees/customers
  • Excellent time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines
  • Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office – Excel; PowerPoint and Word
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to prioritize tasks and work independently

Physical Demands
  • Sedentary work. Sedentary work involves exserting no more than 10 pounds of force at a time and occasionally lifting or carrying articles like docket files, ledgers, and small tools. A certain amount of walking and standing may be necessary in carrying out job duties.
