Job Description:
We are seeking an experienced Sales Representative to join our professional team. You will be responsible for developing and expanding key target end users, resellers and OEM sales for Lake Image products in the CA region via a remote office. You will be a self-motivated, competitive and ambitious sales leader with capital equipment sales experience within the label, secure print or a related packaging industry.
Alongside the above, you will need to have excellent organizational, communication and decision making ability.
 
Accountabilities and Responsibilities:
 
  • Identify, qualify, and develop new business opportunities with prospects by phone, in person, and through written communication
  • Manage, grow, and develop sales by cultivating and maintaining relationships with decision makers
  • Prepare quotes, present solutions, and close deal with new and existing clients
  • Foster and maintain excellent customer and prospect relationships through regular follow up, contract and custom pricing, timely quotations, and general account support
  • Participate in marketing related activities such as trade shows and events
  • Monitor, review, and report on key metrics and forecast 30-60-90 day opportunities to ensure sales targets are achieved; execute sales activity documentation in a timely and professional manner.
  • Work closely with Lake Image Engineering and other internal teams to enhance product offerings, recommend adjustments to product positioning in the market and needed technical modifications
  • Ensure the growth of the business and be committed to the company’s success
 
About you
  • Bachelor’s degree or comparable professional experience
  • 10+ years of experience selling print related capital equipment; background in selling electro mechanical/ inspection equipment into narrow/wide web, security print, or variable data print strongly preferred
  • Have a proven track record of business to business sales success generating $1+ million in personal annual revenue
  • Possess strong presentation, persuasion, and negotiation skills with the ability to close sales
  • Demonstrate the ability to articulate a value proposition that directly addresses clients’ individual and distinct needs
  • Be people-oriented, customer focused, and assertive in developing new client relationships and servicing existing clients
  • Demonstrate a proficiency in territory analysis and be able to identify and develop new client and market opportunities
  • Have strong self-management skills and work ethic to drive results independently
  • Have outstanding multi-tasking and organizational skills with an ability to complete difficult assignments without supervision in a fast paced, deadline driven environment
  • Demonstrate sound business judgment, strong decision making, superior written and verbal communication skills
  • Effectively manage time from a remote office and travel up to 60% of the time within assigned territory to cultivate new business opportunities and grow existing accounts (CA)
  • Thrive in a team environment and be a positive team player
  • Have computer proficiency in Microsoft Office programs

$ 70,000 – 90,000 (depending on experience) + Commission
