At interpack 2026, Domino Printing Sciences (Domino) will focus on the key challenges manufacturers face as variable data printing enters a new era shaped by 2D Codes, intelligent automation, sustainability, and growing traceability demands. Domino specialists will be available throughout the show to highlight integrated solutions designed to work together on the factory floor – developed in collaboration with key industry partners to help to reduce complexity, risk, and operational friction for manufacturers.
“Coding isn’t changing in isolation,” commented Adem Kulauzovic, Director of Automation and Integration, Domino Printing Sciences. “The move towards 2D codes and connected data touches everything from print and verification through to automation, serialisation, and enterprise systems. We see our role as uniting industry experts and collaborating with key partners in the e-commerce and traceability industry – helping manufacturers integrate technologies and partners in a way that makes next-generation coding operational, scalable, and sustainable.”
With expert insight, practical demonstrations, and a clear focus on the technologies and partnerships shaping tomorrow’s requirements, visitors to Hall 8b, Stand C41 will discover tangible solutions across food, beverage, life sciences, and secondary packaging that support enhanced performance and operational resilience, while reducing errors and waste, including:
- An integrated solution for printing and verifying 2D codes powered by GS1 in food sector applications, demonstrating how connected systems support compliance, traceability, and recall readiness.
- Advanced laser marking for flexible films, demonstrating precision, speed, and built-in verification.
- A high-speed beverage closure printing system, focused on reliable performance within complex, automated environments.
- A life sciences blister pack coding solution designed for accuracy, regulatory compliance, and secure data handling.
- A dedicated automation and intelligence hub, illustrating how verification, connectivity, and serialisation can link multiple technologies – and partner capabilities – into a single, integrated solution.
Across the event, Domino will also engage with the wider interpack programme. Domino will collaborate with industry partners, including Amazon and GS1, through a combination of on‑stand activity and wider event engagement to explore how data, standards and interoperability enable the successful adoption of 2D codes and connected packaging strategies
Domino will also take part in the official interpack programme. Craig Stobie, Director of Global Sector Development, will present “Unlocking the many benefits from the adoption and successful implementation of 2D codes” on Saturday 9th May at 10.30am, as part of the official interpack Spotlight Forum, offering practical insight into what the shift to 2D codes means for manufacturers and brands.
