Thermal Inkjet Technology - Domino Gx-Series

TIJ offerings have long been a strong suit for Domino. Our G-Series was one of our most widely-used industrial inkjet printers in the factory. Piezo Inkjet Technology - Domino Cx-Series

First thing's first - if you're unfamiliar with Piezo inkjet printer technology, then you should probably get ready for an interesting ride - because it involves electricity, crystals (yes, crystals) and ink.

Piezo inkjets work by running electric current though specialized piezoelectric crystals. When the current runs through them, the crystals vibrate and act as an actuator. These crystals move vibration plates that effectively squeeze droplets of ink through a cavity.

Once the current stops, the crystals stops, and so does the ink - making Piezo inkjets highly accurate and capable of use on large character printers.

What sets the Domino Piezo Inkjet Apart?

Domino Printing's Cx-Series was specifically engineered to take advantage of Piezo technology's inherent ability to place the perfect amount of ink in the perfect spot. This allows for a reduction in ink usage and smaller consumable costs while maintaining a crisp, clear code.

What makes the Cx special? IIoT capability via Domino Cloud connectivity. As with any Domino printer, our engineers ensure that its codes are legible and fully capable of creating GS1-compliant barcodes, QR codes and MRCs at production line speeds.
