V-Series - How to Change Printhead Resistance
Description

With the correct resistance value of the pressure strip, the printer can supply the appropriate current to the heating elements. Entering an incorrect resistance value in the software will cause print quality issues and may damage components.
NOTE |
If the resistance value in the software is lower than the value printed on the pressure bar:
- Poor print image
- Pale print image
- Contrast setting becomes almost ineffective
If the resistance value in the software is higher than the value printed on the pressure bar:
- Smudged print image
- Print too dark
- Pressure bar becomes constantly soiled
- No printout because the heating elements of the pressure bar may burn out
